Health Benefits of Roses




 Roses have many benefits for health due to their medicinal properties. They contain many vitamins such as vitamin A, B-complex, C, D, E, and minerals such as iron, selenium, and zinc. The medicinal properties of roses also help soothe a sore throat, nervous tension, anxiety or grief, PMS or menopause, headaches, peptic ulcers, hypertension, fluid retention, bronchitis or cold, urinary tract infection, heart disease, and digestion issues (flatulence, constipation, upset stomach, and diarrhea). The petals of rose, rose hips, its roots, root bark, and essential oils all have medicinal properties. They are also used in teas, honey and syrups, herbal tinctures and glycerites, and even in sugar scrubs and other scrubs. Rose hips can also be dried and turned into herb capsules or added to homemade elderberry syrup for an immunity boost. Rose petals are also be infused in white wine for headaches and depression. Rose petal tea is also a nice option to enjoy it's relaxing and throat-soothing properties.
